It was so fun to be a part of the Hoboken Arts & Music festival once again! 🛍✨🌆
This event holds such a special place in my heart. Years ago, I would attend simply as a visitor, admiring all the amazing booths and dreaming of one day having my own. Fast forward to today, this marks my fifth year at the festival, and it was definitely one to remember!
Let’s just say… it might have been the windiest market ever! 💨🤣 It was a gorgeous day, but the wind had other plans-blowing around my tent, banners, products, and even my hair. Luckily, I had the amazing support of Alex (my sewist) and Josh, who helped keep everything grounded while I focused on helping customers. In the end, everything turned out just fine, but it seems like Mother Nature just wanted to add a little excitement this year!
One of the highlights of the day was reconnecting with returning customers. So many people remembered MONICAS from last year and made a point to come back and support me again. One customer even stopped by to show me a tote bag she bought from me years ago—and it’s still going strong! Moments like that remind me why I do what I do. Knowing my handmade pieces can stand the test of time is the most rewarding feeling.
